To make the most of your “looking,” take the time to find a Realtor who will be a good partner: someone who you feel comfortable with and who you trust to place your best interest above all else. You may have to meet with several Asheville Realtors before you find the one you click with. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, and if you don’t feel they are right for you, keep looking and asking until you find the right fit.
Working with Asheville 4 Seasons Realty
At Asheville 4 Seasons Realty, you may find we do things a little differently. First, we’ll ask you to schedule time to sit down with one of our real estate agents. This may take 30 minutes or it may take several hours, depending on your needs. -It will be time well spent. We want you to feel that your needs will be met, your questions will be answered and that your agent understands your home buying goals and is working on the time schedule needed in order to reach those goals. Our real estate agents have the knowledge and the resources to make sure all your questions are answered.
At this first meeting, you will be asked to read and sign a form entitled “Working with Real Estate Agents.” This is not a contract and it does not bind you in any manner to working with us. It is standard procedure and was developed to protect buyers, sellers and Realtors as well. It explains the relationships between an agent and their client…and how one becomes a client. There are various levels of relationships and while it does not have to be difficult, it does need to be spelled out and understood in advance of writing a contract, preferably prior to any showings.
At some point, prior to making an offer, you will need to sign an Exclusive Buyers Agreement, an agreement between you the Buyer and Asheville 4 Seasons Realty. This says that you will work with us, exclusively. It explains what we do, as a Buyer’s Agent, how we will be compensated and how long this agreement will last. Be sure to ask all your questions, and get the answers that make you feel that we will be working for you, plain and simple. Our agents make the commitment to make themselves available to you and to do everything in their power to earn your trust. By signing the agreement, you agree to work exclusively with your agent and the firm, respond in a timely manner and work in good faith towards fulfilling the terms of the contract.

They’re there at the closing and will be there for you long afterwards.
